Hi, everyone. There may be times when you are required to do a shutdown of your Sunrow inverter, whether it's lost comms, it's in error, or whether you've just

been directed by one of our support team. This video will give you a step-by-step guide. Please follow it carefully and in the correct order.

Step one: locate the changeover switch, which can be next to the inverter or in your main switchboard, and switch it to Grid.
  • 00:28
If you don't have a changeover switch, don't worry, this step can be ignored. Step two: locate your inverter AC isolator next to your inverter or

the left-hand side. Switch it to the off position. Step four is to turn off the battery. Locate the isolator on the right-hand side, lift up the cover and switch the

breaker down. Once we've gone through those steps to shut the unit down, we'll need to wait a couple of minutes for it to completely power down.

After that, we'll go through the steps to re-energize the unit. To turn everything back on, we just follow that shutdown procedure in reverse.

So the first step is to turn the battery back on. Flick the breaker up, then we go to the DC

isolator, turn it to on, the inverter AC isolator up, which is on, and then finally, after the system's had a chance to re-energize, so let's say two minutes, we can turn this
